 for computing devices OS is the most important software that optimizes the hardware efficiently for Running Jobs...here jobs refers to that application or programs..as We know OS manage all Hardware activities like I/O operations storing data and algorithms 
I can define the Importance of OS within a single sentence
without OS your computer and cellphones are just pieces of fiber or metal.

OS create and perfect environment for application or programs to Run with optimizing hardware Resources efficiently..allow hardware to response on call manage all operations and Jobs...occupies perfect memory block for Each task or jobs good or bad memory sector we will study this in upcoming topics.

for example: your laptop has window7 OS without Window7 you can't surf the internet you can't access GUI(graphical user Interface) you can't access your office tools..can't chat online. even you can't play Apex legend😟😢
